L-R
Ragged Priest Razorbill Biker Jacket

Soon it'll be the season of layering, basic palettes of neutral toned clothes and months of seeing the same things over and over in the wardrobe, so why not make like the Saint Laurent mens show for A/W and splash out on some plaid to resuscitate that winter wardrobe. Layer a checkered tee or shirt (the one featured is a dupe for a Saint Laurent one) nonchalantly under a camel coat or leather biker for a modern take on a traditional pattern. Or why not opt for some plaid knitwear, teamed with a crisp white shirt, jeans and brogues or boots for a casual spin on things. If the budget is there to be blown, then aim for the quintessential statement piece and invest in Ragged Priests leather and plaid biker which seriously has me stretching to reach my wallet, if only my bank balance would stretch with it! Plaid is one of those lucky styles that can be either thrown on casually such as a oversized shirt (lifesaver in winter) or dressed up for more formal occasions such as a smart, slim fit shirt with black skinny fit trousers and chelsea boots. Recently I invested in two new plaid shirts, one All Saints 'shacket' which is a cross between a shirt and jacket which looks great with dark blue denim and a darker tee underneath, and a Ralph Lauren oversized shirt with suede elbow patches (thanks to TK Maxx, this was a bargain at £39.99 originally £120) which looks great with black denim or dark blue denim and darker accessories, which I can't wait to try soon!
