WISHLIST / BOOHOO NEUTRALS / AD // IYAAJAY
June 02, 2016
After a recent wardrobe clear out (6 bin bags full) Ive realised that a lot of my pieces are actually on a very similar colour scale of black, grey and white and I really want some neutral pieces to merge in with these pieces but also work great by themselves. Step forward BoohooMan, the newly launched menswear website for the super popular brand which is really right on the money when it comes to on trend pieces and this seasons must haves! Ive decided to pick out an outfit that I think that works really well together but also can merge seamlessly into my wardrobe for that ultimate capsule collection.
grey faux suede baseball cap - BoohooMan (click here)
slim fit biker shorts - BoohooMan (click here)
one colour lace up trainers - BoohooMan (click here)
longline MA1 bomber jacket - BoohooMan (click here)
skinny fit sweater with rip detail - BoohooMan (click here)
Ive been super into the khaki's and creams that have been around since the whole Yeezy launch happened and its a great way to introduce colour without being too bold. I love the subtle rip detailing on the jumper to add some edge without being too distressed. The shorts are something that I'm seriously investing in because the biker detail is really spot on for adding the tougher edge to jersey basics but also add more detail to a look and would fit perfectly with other jersey pieces and other materials such as denim and plaid. I have a major love for anything longline and in the form of the bomber jacket so this cream example is a total lust piece for me because I feel this can be one of those pieces that'll never date but also can be dressed up with jeans and a smarter pair of loafers but then edged out with this look or a pair of shredded jeans and a longline tee. For the accessories I kept the options pretty simple and block coloured to add that extra splash of my go to neutrals but in interesting materials such as the faux suede of the cap and the sports detailing in the lace ups.
What do you think of this look? What would you pair these pieces with? Let me know below or on social media using #IYAAJAY
Until next time,
Jay
