Gingham had a real resurgence in the summer, and it doesnt look like its going anywhere soon. With the heritage trend raging, gingham is covering everything this season but in wearer friendly combos that go with pretty much any essential winter wardrobe.
This shirt is a real multitasker. Not only is this doubling as a thin coat, its practical enough for this time of year due to the outer pockets and internal pockets, which make it great for layering under leather jackets etc but this'll also make a brilliant transitional piece into the spring.
I feel this works better with a more smarter looking outfit, such as this example pairing it with a fisherman jumper, my trusty super sprays and some cuban heels for a more wearable look. Im also looking forward to pairing this with a crisp white tee, some cropped trousers and a classic pair of trainers for a more off duty look too.
