So I've had my current shade of hair colour for about 3/4 years, but I'm always terrified when i'm planning to go abroad as fading is imminent and it wrecks any unnatural shade of hair dye so I finally bit the bullet....
I started off with the Scott Cornwall Colour B4 which, i'm gonna be graphic here, stank of rotten egg (not attractive, especially because you can't have the window open due to the product not working if it gets too cold) so I had to man up and deal with it, how I did I have NO idea! and was left with this shade....

(sorry for the iPhone quality)
And after a couple of hours (I wanted to let it settle before I dyed it again)....
(Im aware it looks like a hairdye catastrophe but its getting there)
FINALLY after 3 HOURS of hair dyeing, hair stripping and a lot of waiting, I was finally back to a shade that is so much more suitable for my lifestyle and upcoming events.
Im planning to go a bit lighter in a few weeks before I go away, so it gets more sunkissed and lighter which I'm so excited about!
Although I'm sad about losing my red hair, but a word of warning to anyone, red hair is constant work, you'll find yourself living in Boots buying dye nearly every 3/4 weeks to keep the vibrancy of the shade up so unless your willing and able to do this, PLEASE think carefully!
MUJI
I've been after some new storage for ages and thought being in London was a perfect little excuse to splurge in Muji, which is one of my favourite shops for simple home pieces. The most practical pieces for me were the narrow range, which came with deeper drawers which is so handy, and also I picked up a jewellery tray too so that way all of my stuff is in one place.
Topman
Its not a London trip without popping to the Topman on Oxford St and I did partake in a little splurging whilst there. Firstly I spotted this bracelet that, to me, looks a lot more expensive then it is and also looks super similar to one I saw the other day. Secondly, I eyed this collar chain from across the store and instantly wanted it, not only can this be used under a collar, but it looks amazing just chucked over a plain tshirt. Finally, what use is a collar chain without a shirt? Pretty useless really! So I spotted this plain shirt which gave the chain full attention and had to have it, whilst looking odd in store styling things together and rushing round to see if things worked!
Bershka
This was my first ever trip to Bershka and its safe to say I LOVE IT. Firstly, this vest is actually the last thing I spotted, right when I was at the till. Its galaxy, its a slightly oversized vest so I had to have it! Now I know your thinking I have similar trousers to these already but my beloved Zara trousers, now complete with slight hole due to wear and now holding their shape for about a day, have now finally bitten the dust, so I was in a panic and spotted these bad boys, which fitted like a dream and looked identical to my original ones! WIN WIN
Zara
I spotted these, and tried them on, in the first Zara store I went in (Regents St) and was 50/50 on them, so didn't decide to buy them, but I just couldn't stop thinking of them and kept popping into every Zara until I found them again (I ended up by the one near Selfridges) and was so excited to find them. BUT in all my excitement, one of the security guards thought I was 'acting suspiciously' and started giving my details to the security upstairs, and then I got accused of stealing a jacket, which was my denim one, but when I explained i'd previously bought it, the staff then began rolling their eyes and saying stuff about it to other staff, which I found so unprofessional! Never the less, I GOT THE JEANS!
Foot Locker
Now, I know these shoes are like Marmite, BUT I dont actually own a proper pair of trainers, only Vans and Nike high tops, so was on the lookout for some Air Max's as I wanted something stable, but comfy. So I spotted these, in Foot locker, where they were exclusive to them, down from £94.99 to £59.99 due to them being on the 'Last chance' rack which striked me as odd as theres nothing wrong with them. I road tested them the day after and these were the first shoes i've owned that haven't broken me instead of breaking themselves!
finally...
The Sting
Drop Crotch Jersey Shorts £25
Sadly The Sting doesn't have a website where you can purchase products, which is so annoying as I love their stuff! However, I spotted these Zara-esque shorts for a fraction of what they'd usually sell for, and couldn't resist. BUT when I went to pay, my transaction got DECLINED twice! which made me really upset, and thought something had gone wrong at my bank and I started panicking but, then I found out it was a machine fault and could sign for them instead, PHEW that was close!
**update**
Im still waiting for my Fashionology necklace to arrive! (3 weeks and counting) and this'll be the last haul i'll be doing for sometime as I really don't need to buy anything else and should be a bit more mature with my money, but another change is coming soon so expect an exciting new post!
Jack Wills
First stop of the day was at Jack Wills, who's summer stuff I always stock up on as its so easy to piece with other styles etc. Ive always loved the fit of their polo's so decided to get the grey one whilst there for my upcoming holiday (5 weeks and counting!) and whilst there, I spotted the last pair of those flipflop's IN MY SIZE! fate anyone?
Superdry
On the holiday theme, I popped into Superdry to grab a hand luggage worthy bag, which will also double as a suitable bag for Barcelona, where I need something sturdy because splurging will occur! Its a really useable sized bag with slots for your phone and wallet and loads of pockets for other things.
Toms @ Office
I literally told myself no more shoes but then I realised how much I loved my original Toms (so much they split, ripped etc after months of solid use) that I went into Office, gushed over these and splurged. I know you can get cheaper alternatives but these are the original and best.
finally...
River Island
THIS has been on my wishlist for well over 2 months and everytime I looked they never had my size online, until the Friday before May day (yes, only I could be stupid enough to order on a Bank Holiday but who could blame me for a top like this?!) and I love it so much. Its inspired by the Givenchy Rottweiler tops that range between £160-£320 which is rather pricey but this was a wallet friendly £12.
Dont worry guys, I know this hauls small BUT i'm heading to London Friday so look out for a haul next week!
Spring wouldn't be spring if updates didn't occur so I decided to swap around some of my room, including my bedding. As soon as I saw this, I automatically thought of the Lana Del Rey lyrics 'I fall asleep in an American flag' and I had to have it. Its a slightly vintage style interpretation and has cream and navy stars on one side and the huge American flag on the other. However, I wasn't a fan of the pricing as they charged seperatly for pillowcases!
Its no secret I love vintage style pieces and I came across this vintage inspired London map material at The Owl and Sewing Cat in Eastbourne, which is the best place for quirky material etc and luckily my Mum said she'd make them into cushions as to buy something like it is like £20+, so I'm super happy to have these now.
I've got such an obsession with this jacket still which I know isn't healthy but its the perfect jacket for the current weather and literally goes with everything I own BONUS! I think between this and my Barbour, it's hard to find a more perfect jacket.
Im so glad I decided to order this, due to the fact its been sold out ever since and probably would of sat on the floor and cried in Zara if I didn't get it (I wouldn't, well you never know). This top is perfect for the summer months as its one of those 'I chucked this on and it looks amazing' type of t-shirts which fits perfectly and is also light enough for really hot days.
Heres something you can't buy in stores, but another favourite since its sunnier and lighter, is the view out of my bedroom window which is a really nice part of the South Downs, which is actually an amazing view all times of the year but its particularly stunning in the summertime.
Favourite item i'd love to own this month
Ive loved these cases for ages and ever since the all black ones been out i've been lusting after it BUT theres no way I'd spend £495 on a iPad case. A guy can dream can't he....
Favourite Youtubers
Claire Marshall
Ive been a massive fan of Claire for ages, including her furry friend Bruce Lee, and her videos always look amazingly professional and polished, but with a modern edge (interesting views etc). She's also an avid blogger and Instagrammer so make sure to check out those as well!
Anneleeandjesse are also some of my favourite Youtube people, and usually update daily with vlogs and hauls which also feature Claire and many of their friends/clients and are always really well put together aswell, much like their individual Instagrams and their blog.
EXCITING UPDATE
I also won something on the Fashionology.nl Instagram and Facebook giveaway where for 10 days they were getting you to regram/ share their pics to get goodies and I WON DAY 5 which was the Pentagram Necklace so expect a super happy blogpost on that. This made up for the slight disappointment of not being shortlisted for the Company Blogger awards BUT what did also cheer me up was finally hitting 1000 views on Wednesday which is crazy and i'm super super thankful for everyone who's reading my blog!
Im also planning some upcoming posts and Ive got two that I really want to do but really want to know what you guys think I should do first. Either a shoe collection post, or a holiday packing post, so let me know in the comments which one you'd like to see and ill go from there. Both will get done but Ill put the most popular one up first.
