As part of Matches Fashion 12 day Happy Holiday Christmas giveaway, where they've been giving away a designer item for both Men and Women everyday including big names such as Alexander McQueen, Isabel Marant,Lanvin, Saint Laurent and my favourite Mulberry. On Monday, they were giving away a mens Mulberry Cashmere and Merino scarf in grey multi tones which I fell in love with and would of loved to of won. Whilst checking my emails Tuesday morning, I got a welcome surprise from Stasha at Matches informing me I was the lucky winner of said scarf, which was super exciting. Luckily the parcel turned up yesterday so I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And here it is...
First off, Matches really do outdo themselves when it comes to packaging and making sure your item is treated with care. The highly patterned box, with a mint green lining, enclosed a massive tissue paper bundle secured with a Matches label, which held a ribbon sealed tissue paper parcel, with my scarf inside. All the packaging was so beautiful, I honestly didn't want to rip it, plus I kept it so I can wrap it in tissue whilst I'm not using it. The scarf is incredibly soft with a subtle Mulberry logo on one end which means it looks lux without shouting huge labels and designers at you. Mulberry pride themselves on high quality products and this is definitely one of them. This scarf would be an amazing gift this Christmas as its a classic piece that can be coveted and loved for years to come, albeit a slightly hefty pricetag of £165, but you can't go wrong with Mulberry or Matches Fashion!
